Mind Partners + Sport dans la Ville:
supporting students and revealing the talents of the future

Because we realise how lucky we are to be at the crossroads of talent! Because commitment is part of our DNA. And because we believe that young people need to be encouraged…

At Mind Partners UK, we are convinced that bringing talent together is both an opportunity and a responsibility. As an executive search firm committed to CSR, we are committed to supporting young people and promoting equal opportunities.

For these reasons, and because the association Sport dans la Ville, a major player in social and professional integration through sport, has touched our team, Mind Partners UK has decided to support young people through English language skills by working with SDLV.

Why this commitment to social solidarity?

The world of work is changing. Companies are increasingly expected to demonstrate their social and environmental impact. For us, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not just a label, but a profound approach that guides our choices and our actions. We believe that every company, every recruiter, can play a key role in building a more inclusive and fairer society.

Being at the crossroads of talent also means witnessing the obstacles faced by many young people, particularly those from disadvantaged neighbourhoods. Lack of a network, lack of opportunities, lack of self-confidence… these are all barriers to professional integration that we aim to remove. Our profession puts us in a unique position to take concrete action, helping young people to find jobs and become self-sufficient.

Sport dans la Ville: a meaningful partner

Founded in 1998, Sport dans la Ville has established itself as France’s leading association for integration through sport. Its ambition is clear: to contribute to equality of opportunity by helping young people, from an early age, to integrate into society and the world of work. Through a network of sports centres located in the heart of local neighbourhoods, the association offers free sporting activities, as well as support programmes for training, career guidance and employment.

What struck us about Sport dans la Ville was the strength of their commitment and the real impact of their actions. Every year, thousands of young people benefit from their support, discovering new perspectives, gaining self-confidence and allowing themselves to dream bigger.

The ‘Young Talents’ programme: helping young people to succeed

Among the many schemes offered by the association, the ‘Young Talents’ programme particularly caught our attention. This programme aims to facilitate access to employment for young people from priority neighbourhoods, by offering them tailored support: preparation workshops, meetings with professionals, mock interviews and immersion in companies.

For Mind Partners UK, getting involved in this programme is a matter of course. We know just how difficult it can be to get your first job, especially when you’re not sure of your bearings or your confidence. As recruiters, we are convinced that preparation, listening and support are essential to enable each young person to reveal their potential.

English as a springboard to a career

Since February, our consultant Cynthia Ourizi has been working with a young student as part of the Young Talents programme. Every week, they meet for interviews in English, in a professional context.

The aim? To enable this young woman to practise the language, become more fluent, prepare for interviews and better understand the codes of the world of work.

Mastering English is now a major asset, but access to quality courses remains uneven. By offering this support, we hope to provide a real opportunity for progress, confidence and openness. Very quickly, we saw the young student assert herself, dare to ask questions and express her ambitions. She has made remarkable progress, both linguistically and personally.

Support: a human and rewarding adventure

Supporting a young person means much more than passing on skills. It’s about establishing a genuine dialogue, sharing experiences, encouraging, valuing and, sometimes, learning. Each interview is an opportunity to talk about their career paths, dreams and difficulties, but also about resilience and perseverance.

We discover a young woman who is motivated, curious and determined to seize new opportunities. Her energy and determination are a source of inspiration for our entire team. This experience reminds us that inclusion is built every day, through simple gestures: listening, encouraging, giving confidence.

An impact that goes beyond recruitment

Supporting young people means preparing for the future. It means investing in the diversity of talent, innovation and adaptability in our society. Our commitment to Sport dans la Ville is part of an overall CSR approach aimed at promoting equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion.

We are convinced that these values are levers of performance and attractiveness for companies. By supporting young people, we broaden the talent pool, enrich our teams and encourage the emergence of new ideas. But the impact of our action is not limited to the professional world: by helping a young woman to gain confidence, to project herself and to believe in herself, we are also contributing to her personal development and her ability to become involved in her own life.

    A partnership to grow

Our collaboration with Sport dans la Ville is above all a human adventure, based on trust, respect and the desire to work together. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the entire Sport dans la Ville team for their commitment and professionalism.

This partnership is mutually enriching and opens up new prospects, both for the young people and for our company. We want to continue and expand this approach, by involving more employees, developing new projects and sharing our experience with other players in the recruitment industry.

    Come and join us!

At Mind Partners UK, we believe that every company, every professional, can take action to make society more inclusive. We invite all companies, recruiters and employees who share these values to join us in this adventure.

Together, let’s open up the field of possibilities to the new generation. Together, let’s make recruitment a lever for inclusion, diversity and innovation. Together, let’s give every young person the chance to reveal their potential, to dream and to succeed.

Thank you to Sport dans la Ville for their commitment and trust. Thank you to the young student for her enthusiasm and perseverance. And thank you to all those who are committed to a more inclusive and supportive society.
