🏔 She climbed Kilimanjaro.
A feat at an altitude of 5,895 metres, physical of course, mental certainly… and deeply human.
🎯 Laurence COUTURIER, a committed top manager, mother and determined sportswoman, has just taken on an extraordinary challenge with a powerful motivation: to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, a personal cause closely linked to her family history.
For 15 days, Laurence and her team of volunteers Pierre Debleme, Jean-Luc Angélis, Bastien Servieres faced environments as varied as they were symbolic: tropical forest, bush, stone desert, glaciers… An expedition that echoes the invisible mountain of the disease, the daily struggle it represents, and the resilience needed to move forward, step by step.
💬 ‘For the final ascent, we set off at 11:45 p.m. and reached the summit shortly before 7 a.m. Then we had to descend more than 2,800 metres. Fatigue was setting in, but adrenaline took over.’
What did we learn? Collective strength, solidarity and unwavering determination. The whole team came back united, grown and transformed.
At Mind Partners, these are precisely the qualities we value and seek in the executives and top managers we support:
➡️ the ability to lead a team in demanding conditions,
➡️ a sense of teamwork,
➡️ motivation guided by a clear vision.
🎯 In a world where performance can no longer be considered without impact, today’s leaders are those who combine high standards, ethics and resilience.
Laurence embodies these values. She is one of those rare individuals who drive transformation and are capable of inspiring their professional colleagues – and beyond – in a lasting way.
🚨 The climb has been successful, but the last hurdle remains: reaching the fundraising goal, 100% dedicated to Capucine GENDRE’s research project for the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. We can still make a difference and help fund a full year of promising research.🙏 Thank you to everyone who supports this human adventure to turn it into concrete research action.
As for Laurence… it’s back to work. But her mind remains focused on the next summit. 🧠👟
